Hill raises the red flag on SEL, CRT and Implied Bias training.

State Senator Angela Hill (right) joined Y’all Politics on Friday to discuss two burning issues across the state: medical marijuana and the education program regarding the inclusion of theory criticism of the breed. Hill drafts bills related to both.

Senator Hill has expressed concern over the allocation of the medical marijuana bill to budtenders ill-trained to distribute the product. She wants pharmacists to be involved in the delivery of the product and ensures that doctors receive specific training related to cannabis. She also shares Governor Tate Reeves’ concern about how much of the product can be obtained by a patient at any given time.

When it comes to education and the proposed changes to the curriculum, Senator Hill wants the Mississippi Department of Education to provide more transparency when considering these changes by sending proposals to lawmakers instead of just them. list with the Secretary of State. She is openly concerned with the social and emotional learning (SEL) models, implicit bias training, and the Critical Race Theory curriculum that are making their way into public education in Mississippi.
